Seniors events set during January

Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee (EAC) has scheduled several events for seniors during January.
Tuesday, January 8 – Mount Sinai Wellness Workshops with a topic to be announced will be presented at 11 a.m. at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
A light lunch will be served courtesy of Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Saturday, January 12 – Tech Forum will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Seniors will learn about the advantages of smartphones and how to navigate Apple and Android products. Attendees will also learn how to use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and EventBrite.
