“It’s time to Party, Prevent and Prevail together!” That’s the theme for the “Party In Pink” Zumbathon® charity event scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 18, at Shula’s Athletic Club, 15151 Bull Run Road, in Miami Lakes.
Miami Lakes area residents are invited to exercise their right as a Zumba® community and rock out with friends for a good cause to help raise funds for global research that could ultimately save millions of lives around the world. Shula’s is providing the venue and food and all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Zumba® Global Research Grant for Breast Cancer Prevention.
Zumba Fitness is guaranteeing a minimum donation of $3 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure which will manage the medical research grant. Pre-sale tickets are $15 and will be available at Shula’s Athletic Club’s front desk. Tickets at the door will be $20 and only 250 tickets will be sold.
