‘The Spot’ has June events planned for Town teenagers

Miami Lakes Youth Center will be hosting several fun and exciting programs for middle and high school students during June at “The Spot,” 6075 Miami Lakes Drive. 

Friday, June 9, “End of School Year” Bash from 6 to 8 p.m. Time to celebrate a job well done at school and kick off the summer with a Pizza Party, music, video games, board games and move.

Wednesday, June 14, “Super Hero” Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees can all be Super Heroes for a night. The Spot has a new “Injustice 2” so which super heroes will win the battle. Come dressed as favorite Super Heroes for the costume contest. 

Friday, June 23, “Slime Night” from 6 to 8 p.m. Who can make the most creative “Slime.” The Spot will furnish the supplies, guests should bring their own creativity.

Saturday, June 24, “Frost Museum of Science” Field Trip from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Attendees will see a three-level aquarium, a planetarium show, and learn much more. Space is limited. Thursday, June 29, “Open Hang Night” from 6 to 8 p.m. The Youth Center is full equipped with a billiard table, table tennis, indoor basketball shootout game, Microsoft Xbox One Console and more. Bring friends and “hang out” for a night of fun and games.
