Miami Lakes Youth Center will host several programs during May for middle and high school students from 6 to 8 p.m. at “The Spot” located at 6075 Miami Lakes Drive.
Friday, May 5 – Star Wars Night. Come dressed as favorite Star Wars characters and get ready for Star Wars trivia games and more.
Wednesday, May 10 – Hamilton Theme Night. Who is ready to party like its 1776? Join at The Spot for Hamilton games, American History trivia, a costume contest, and of course, karaoke with favorite Hamilton songs.
Friday, May 19 – Code Explorers Night. Explore the world of coding, and gaming through hip-hop with Code Explorers. Participants will engage in interactive, hands-on activities that connects with all learners. No prior knowledge or skills necessary.
Wednesday, May 24 – Rock Star 101. Rock out with Rock Star 101. The Center will have the lights, stage, sound system and costumes to put on a Rock Concert starring teenage participants at this memorable event.
