Summer is just around the corner and the Town of Miami Lakes announced it will offer two camps in partnership with the PEAR and the YMCA organizations.
The camps will run from Monday to Friday starting Monday, June 12, and ending on Friday, August 18, excluding Tuesday July 4. The camps are for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. In addition, the YMCA will offer a Leader in Training (LIT) camp for ages 13 to 15 years old..
Summer Camp with PEAR will take place at the Youth Center at Miami Lakes Picnic Park east, 6075 Miami Lakes Drive, while the YMCA will host its camp at the Roberto Alonso Community Center at Royal Oaks Park, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
