Together with Code Explorers, the Town of Miami Lakes is launching the world?s first Virtual/Augmented Reality Sustainability with Empathy curriculum for Kids iIn 2015, the UN General Assembly adopted a set of goals to improve quality of education, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustaEach goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years. For the goals to be reached, everyone needs to do their part: Governments, the private secIn April 2019, The Children?s Trust in Miami awarded Code Explorers an Innovation Grant to develop the first sustainable and emphathy curriculum to teach students to create virtual and augmented reality content and storytelling while being Code Explorers and the Town of Miami Lakes will be the pioneers introducing this program to the community. The idea is to create community engagement around locVirtual and Augmented Reality (VRAR) is a brand new user interface unlike any other immersing a person in a digital 3D environment instead of watching on a display.
