Miami Lakes Veterans Committee, in partnership with project sponsor the Miami Lakes AutoMall, will recognize and pay tribute to the Town’s military heroes for their sacrifices with a Military Tribute Banner.
Family members and loved ones may nominate an active duty service member, reservist, veteran, or retired member from any branch of the military to be honored with a street banner with the individual’s name and photo. The banner will be prominently displayed on Miami Lakes Drive.
To qualify, honorees must be a Miami Lakes resident or business owner. Nomination forms may be found at www.miamilakes-fl.gov/vc, and must be submitted by Monday, May 7, to Nathalie Garcia at garcian@miamilakes-fl.gov.
