Miami Lakes Veterans Committee is supporting the Honor Flights of South Florida program to promote the upcoming Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. scheduled for May 20.
Honor Flights of South Florida transport America’s veterans to the nation’s capital to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.
Honor Flights will reserve one seat on the plane for a World War II veteran from the Miami Lakes community.
The community is invited to nominate a WWII veteran to receive their once in a lifetime opportunity at zero cost to the veteran. Register the veteran at
