Miami Lakes resident and violinist Jessica Mendoza recently performed at Florida International University’s “Fantastic Season Finale” as the first violinist.
The 10-year-old Miami Lakes K-8 Center student previously performed at the University of Miami and Florida University.
Mendoza, a native of Venezuela, is very passionate about her young career as a violinist and dreams of playing on a bigger stage.
She currently takes classes at the Miami Music Project in Downtown Miami.
