Youth Council invites teens to Community Service project

Miami Lakes Youth Center Council is inviting Miami Lakes teens to participate in the Feeding South Florida community service project on Saturday, February 25. 

Volunteers will meet at the Youth Center, 6075 Miami Lakes Drive, at 12:30 p.m. The Town Moover will transport volunteers to Feeding South Florida until 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
Feeding America is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization, comprised of 200 food banks throughout the United States. Feeding South Florida is the sole Feeding American food bank serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

Feeding South Florida is also the leading domestic hunger-relief organization in South Florida, service 25 percent of Florida’s food insecure population.
