The Zonta Club of Miami Lakes held its annual flea market on Saturday, November 8 on the southwest corner of Main Street and Ludlam Rd. The event was labeled a success thanks to the 60 vendors who reserved spaces this year.

In addition, the Zonta Club had its own table of gathered treasures which sold quickly. At the conclusion of the event, there was a free pick up of any unsold and unwanted items as donations to the Lotus House Charity.

The Lotus House Charity staff, Neekisha Darasaw and Michelle Wade also accepted a generous check from Christian Kunkle, son of Zonta Club member Grethel and Patrick Kunkle. Christian donated the profits of his flea market day to Lotus House.

The Zonta Club of Miami Lakes Annual Flea Market is hosted by The Graham Companies and is a part of Zonta International, a worldwide service organization of executives in business and professionals working together to advance the status of women.
