BGEC student wins Supt.’s Award of Excellence

     Madison Frias, a fifth grader at Bob Graham Education Center, received the Student Award of Excellence from the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent’s District Advisory Panel. 

     The presentation happened May 21 at Miami-Dade County School Board headquarters in downtown Miami.

     The award recognizes children in the Exceptional Student Education Program who show leadership skills and have excelled academically during the school year. 

     Teacher Yalizza Fernandez nominated Madison for the award, the school said in an email.
