Bianca and Alyssa Soto signed a two year softball scholarship to Broward College on May 24. The twins have both played for Barbara Goleman for the past four years and are the captains of the team. The pitcher and catcher duo from Goleman are on their way to more success on and off the field. The girls are pictured during their signing at Broward College.
Bob Graham Education Center (BGEC) is closing out the school year and saying goodbye to two long-time teachers, Patrice Wade and Laura Lisowski who will both be retiring this year.Wade began her teaching career in Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) in 1976. Bob Graham Education Center held its sixth annual art extravaganza on May 16. Close to 500 original art pieces were exhibited thanks to the creativity of the many talented students. Five MDC students win Wolfson Art Scholarships

Five Miami Dade College (MDC) students and aspiring artists have been honored with the 2019 Frances Wolfson Art Scholarship to support the costs of tuition, books, fees and art supplies.The 2019 scholarship winners are MDC students Andrea Araica, Anthony Campos, Quentin Gibson-Mays and Jacquelyn Molina, and New World School of the Arts student Angelica Brito.
