Space STEM Club students from Palm Springs North Elementary School hosted their fourth annual rocketry day, in celebration of Engineers Week. The #464 Opa-Locka cadet squadron from Civil Air Patrol collaborated to design the rockets. The event took place at Florida Memorial University, Lehman Aviation Building, on February 16. Lawton Chiles Middle School student James Pruszynski won first place in the Science Fair Junior Division in Chemistry with his project of ‘How does salt affect ice and water’.
