Miami Lakes area schools receive 'A' and 'B' grades for school year

Miami Lakes schools Bob Graham Education Center, Barbara Goleman Senior High School and Miami Lakes Educational Center all received A grades for the past school year. Students from Mater Academy Charter School won the Future Business Leaders of America State Competition, bringing home 10 first place awards, three second-place awards, two third-place awards, three fourth place awards and three fifth- place awards. As a result, 25 students have qualified to represent Florida at the National Leadership Conference in June in Atlanta, Georgia.
