MLK-8 Center collects more than 300 costumes

Miami Lakes K-8 Center’s students, faculty and staff collected and delivered over 300 costumes that were used by the children at the various Miami-Dade County community center branches. The students smiled while wearing their costumes on the Friday before Halloween delighting in doing something good for others. 

Pace Tons of Love Food Drive continues nearly 30 year tradition

  For nearly 30 years, Monsignor Edward Pace High School has been collecting food in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving for its Tons of Love food drive. Everyone in the Pace family, including students, parents, teachers, and staff, is asked to donate non-perishable and canned food items. MLMS accepts magnet program applications

Miami Lakes Middle School, 6425 Miami Lakeway North, is accepting applications for the school’s unique Legal Studies Magnet Program for the 2016-2017 school year. The applications for the program will be accepted until January 15, 2016. Parents can apply online or by mail.
