College honors for local students

Miami Lakes resident Eduardo Crespo, a student at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, was among more than 1,000 Pratt students who made the President’s List for the Fall 2014 semester. Miami Lakes resident Ted Guio received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in December.

  Among 134 national winners recognized by the Magnet Schools of America (MSA), Miami-Dade county had 28 schools earn the Magnet Schools of Distinction Award which will be presented at the National MSA Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina in April.
