Three teachers, each with decades of experience, retired before the start of the 2020 – 2021 school year from Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Hialeah.Anne Clay taught Mathematics and joined the faculty in 1973. Eddie the Spartan, the mascot for Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Miami Gardens, welcomed students Aug. 17 during a car parade that was part of orientation for the new students. Orientation days in previous years would include campus tours and visits to classrooms, but those traditions couldn’t happen during the coronavirus pandemic.
