American High nominates six Silver Knight candidates

American Senior High (ASH) has announced its Silver Knight Award nominees for the 2018-2019 school year. One Silver Knight and three honorable mentions in each category will be announced at a ceremony on May 16 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami.
The ASH nominees include Sebastian Perez, Art Silver Knight nominee; Amy Granillo, World Languages, Silver Knight nominee; Talia Garcia, Scial Science Silver Knight nominee; Jose Burgos, Math Silver Knight nominee; Maikol Rodriguez, Athletics Silver Knight nominee and Katherine Elizabeth De Armas English and Literature Silver Knight nominee.
Silver Knight winners will receive a $2,000 prize and the honorable mention winners will receive $500 each.
