Barbara Goleman student David Gonzalez one of 12 receiving FCU scholarships

Barbara Goleman High recent graduate, David C. Gonzalez, was among 12 Miami-Dade students who were awarded full tuition university scholarships thanks to South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union.

The students were recently recognized during the annual Huberto O. Sibley Scholarship ceremony, as FCU awarded a total of $323,184 in scholarships to the recipients to pursue their career goals.

Coral Reef High had four scholarship award recipients.
Since 1995, FCU has awarded more than $3.278 million in scholarships to 353 college-bound students. 

The Hubert O. Sibley Tuition Scholarship Program is one of the many ways the Credit Union supports students across South Florida reach their academic goals.
To be eligible for FCU’s Hubert O. Sibley Tuition Scholarship, high school seniors or their parent or legal guardian must have had an active Credit Union account for at least one year prior to the scholarship application deadline.
