Bob Graham Education Center (BGEC) staff, students, and families walked together along with over 20,000 members of the South Florida community on Saturday, January 25, to help raise autism awareness and enjoy a fun-filled day at the Dan Marino Foundation sponsored event, WalkAbout Autism 2014. BGEC's team "Team Help" raised over $1,000 for the cause and 25 percent of the funds will return to the Special Education department (SPED) at the school. The SPED department will use those funds for resources in the classroom.
