BGEC students score in U.S. Constitution competitions

Bob Graham Education Center’s Civic Engagement Academy won first place in Miami-Dade County Public School’s “We the People” district competition on Jan. 9, and placed second at the state contest in Lakeland, Fla. on Jan. 31. Students researched, studied and debated the intricacies of the U.S. Constitution to perfect their arguments, teacher John Brady said.
