BGEC’s Carolina Garcia is runner-up in essay contest

Bob Graham Education student Carolina Garcia took second place in the Youth Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County Annual Essay Contest for the middle school category. She was recognized by M-DCPS School Board Member Maria Teresa Rojas and the rest of the board during the meeting held on May 24. Faculty and administration celebrate this dedicated student who arrived from Cuba only a year and a half ago and whose extraordinary efforts have made her a recognized writer.
