Bob Graham Education Center's Robocat STEM Academy wins at FIU's Future City

Bob Graham Education Center’s seventh grade Robocat STEM Academy competed for the first time at the Future City competition at Florida International University (FIU) Engineering Campus in mid-January. David Coira, Michelle Mendez, Mathew Walker and Mengqi Wu represented the STEM Academy with their model. The students earned the Special Award for the Best Integration of Cultural and Historical Resources in a Future City. The students also won a $100 dollar gift card for their efforts. This award was given by engineers who interviewed them on their model.
