Carvalho joins Three Kings Parade

Miami-Dade Public Schools Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho took part in the annual Three Kings Parade in Little Havana along S.W. 8 Street on January 8. The event commemorates the arrival of the three wise men after the birth of Christ, and the day that children traditionally receive gifts in a number of Latin American countries. “I was honored, once again, to have been part of this annual tradition,” Carvalho said, as he was joined by Billy the Marlin.
