Dade Christian School guides students to success

It’s an exciting time to be a part of the secondary school at Dade Christian School. Guidance Counselor, Ludy Joseph, is determined to help students succeed and achieve higher education goals.

This year, Dade Christian School’s high school student can look forward to various on and off campus activities available to them. One notable addition is the Collegiate Roundtable visits. Every Tuesday, a college or university admissions representative will visit the campus to speak to juniors and seniors about the latest admission requirements.

These gatherings expose students to a wealth of valuable information regarding the application process, financial aid, SAT and ACT scores, resumes, honors and merit programs, and deadlines.

Many more Tuesdays are yet to come but so far the University of Miami, Barry University, Trinity International University, Liberty University, Florida Atlantic University, and Florida State University have already visited. Recently, over 75 Dade Christian high school students attended the National Association for College Admission Counseling Fall College Fair.

During this time students had the opportunity to speak with representatives from over 250 colleges and universities from around the nation. For more information on Dade Christian School contact the admissions office at 305-827-8767.
