The Miami Lakes Education Advisory Board is accepting applications for the Future Leaders Scholarship.
Two scholarships, of $1,500 each, are funded by The Graham Companies.
High school seniors who live in town and expect to graduate in the spring are eligible to apply.
Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, a commitment to community service and be able to identify their future goals.
Winners will have shown an extraordinary commitment to their school and community.
Applications must have proof of residency, an essay of up to 750 words that describes how the student aspires to improve the world and an official, sealed high school transcript.
Also, they should submit three letters of recommendation from people who are not related to the student; one of those letters must be from a teacher or school officials.
Paperwork must be submitted to Town Hall, 6601 Main St., by March 6. Two winners will be announced in April.
