Goleman student to attend medical conference

     Lola Cosani, a freshman at Barbara Goleman Senior High School, plans to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders June 21-23 at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, Mass.

     Lola, 14, of Hialeah, is a member of Goleman’s Medical Leaders of Tomorrow Club and also plays on the school tennis team.

     She hopes to become a veterinarian. The conference in Massachusetts will offer talks by leading medical researchers and medical school deans and describe new technologies to about 4,000 attendees, according to the school and a press release.
