Hialeah Miami Lakes (HML) Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) members Stephany Sanchez (left) and Fiorela Serrano (right) qualified to compete at the DECA International Competition held at Atlanta on April 22 and 23. Both Sanchez and Serrano competed in the sports entertainment promotion event. They currently hold the position of vice president of the HML DECA chapter. This year, HML DECA staffed and managed the annual Miami Lakes Methodist Church pumpkin patch and participated in several competitions and other community service projects.
