Kandis Terry, Katie Camero, and Katherine Merino are long time friends, Miami Lakes residents, and graduating dancers at Intensity Dancer’s Studio in Miami Lakes. All three girls have been attending dance class since second grade, five to six times a week until their graduation this June.
Terry and Camero graduated from New World School of the Arts and Merino from Archbishop McCarthy. Terry will be pursuing dance at the University of Michigan. Camero will be studying journalism at Boston University and Merino will be studying engineering at the University of Central Florida.
Each earned scholarships for their academic successes and as for their talent, Marisa Bidegaray, instructor at Intensity Dancer’s Studio speaks only praises for the trio.
“We are going to miss them so much,” said Bidegaray. “We’ve seen them grow up from little girls to talented women. We wish them all the best.”
