Lawton Chiles Middle School's soccer team makes the playoffs

     The Lawton Chiles Middle School boys soccer team won six of its nine matches this season and won a postseason game for the first time in more than 20 years, a school official said. The team outscored its opponents 24-16 on the year -- including a 20-9 margin over the team’s last six matches. The six wins in 2025 doubled last season’s victory total.
