Earlier this school year the State of Florida released the names of students who scored a perfect score on the Florida State Assessments and in the End of Course Exams.
On Friday, October 13, the administration at Mater Lakes Academy took eight of its students out to a special lunch at Carrabba’s Italian Grill to recognize them for their outstanding achievement in receiving perfect scores in the FSA and EOC exams in the 2016-2017 school year.
Jonathan Olive and Matthew Pineiro, were awarded a perfect score in the FSA Grade 6 Mathematics exam. Olivia Motha received a perfect score in the FSA Grade 7 Mathematics exam. For the Civics EOC Exam, Micah Clarke and Giovanni Galvis earned perfect scores. For the Grade 8 Science Exam both Kevin Garcia and Jason Alonso earned perfect scores. Robert Merkel was awarded a perfect score in the U.S. History EOC Exam.
“This has become one of our favorite traditions at Mater Lakes Academy. It is an honor to recognize these students’ outstanding effort and accomplishment in their exams,” said principal Rene F. Rovirosa.
