Miami Dade College hosts Teen Driver Safety course

Since 2013, Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Justice has offered the Advanced Teen Driving Safety Program to help prevent teen accidents. The next session will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at MDC’s North Campus.
The Teen Driving Safety Program is a two-part program to learn advanced driving skills and techniques to avoid accidents and dangerous driving situations. In addition to classroom instruction, practical training will include braking technique, evasive maneuver and skid control. Participants may qualify for a discount on car insurance.
Cost is $150 per student and all participants must have a valid driver’s license. The program will be held at the MDC North Campus Driving Range, 11380 N.W. 27 Avenue.
