Miami Lakes AutoMall hosts Teens & Cars workshop at Mater Lakes Academy

     Fred Senra, partner at Miami Lakes AutoMall, held the first of three Teens & Cars workshops at Mater Lakes Academy High School on Nov. 13. Senra brought Service Director Elvis Gamez; Service Manager Hugo Garcia and Salesmen Armando Arratia and Danyer Diaz to teach the kids their way around motors and mechanical systems.

     “You may know about what a car looks like on the outside and the inside, but you don’t know the technical parts,” Senra told the students. One way to get their attention: Bring a convertible Corvette to the demonstration, along with Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Trail Blazer. The next lesson is about tire science. Zee Aleman of the Hialeah school’s Parent Alliance coordinated the event and provided the photos.
