 The Miami-Dade County Library branch in Miami Lakes is offering these in-person classes. 

LEGO and Goobi Building Challenge

Wed., Feb. 1   4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Choose LEGO or Goobi pieces to complete engineering tasks. 

Ages 8 – 18.

Get Your Game On!

Thurs., Feb. 2   4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Friendly competitions in video and board games.

Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW)

Fri., Feb. 3  10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Renew a driver’s license or get a replacement, change a name or address; get an ID card or renew a vehicle registration. Call for an appointment a month before at 305-822-6520.

Ages 18+.

Homework Help and Tutoring 

Free, in-person tutoring by certified teachers for grades K-12 in reading, math and science.

Stories with Prickle Rick the Hedgehog

Meet Prickle Rick, a pygmy albino African hedgehog, and enjoy stories too.

Robot Demonstration

Sat., Feb. 11

Miami-Dade Police will demonstrate a robot and teach how it was built and how it is used. Photo opportunities are available.

Heroes in My House: A Magical Journey Through Black History

     It is closed Sundays and some Mondays.
