MLK-8 Center student joins All-State Orchestra

Miami Lakes K-8 Center 8th grader Sabrina Scavuzzo (shown at left with music teacher Sara Cino) was accepted into the All-State Orchestra.
In January she will join other Florida students in Tampa, including several musicians from Bob Graham Education Center, during the Florida Music Educator’s Conference. Scavuzzo, 13, of Miami Lakes will play the double bass.
It is the first time a student from the school has won a chance to perform with the orchestra.
