Miami Lakes K-8 Center is hosting its Fall Scholastic Book Fair from November 17-21. On Tuesday, November 18, bagels and coffee will be available for a morning pick-me-up from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.
On Wednesday, November 19, the book fair closes at 2 p.m. and reopens from 4 to 8 p.m. A variety of events are scheduled for Wednesday, including “Reading Under the Stars,” face painting and crafts, a Trash or Treasure show, and some courtly dances from the Renaissance dance troupe.
Monday,Thursday and Friday, the book fair will also be open for purchases. Fifth and eighth grade committees will also be selling snacks and beverages. All purchases made benefit Miami Lakes K-8 Center.
