Miami-Dade County Schools in partnership with the University of Miami Health System and The Children’s Trust will be offering free vaccinations at the university’s UHealth Pediatric Mobile Clinic.
Children who need school-age vaccinations, the flu vaccine, the COVID-19 shot or its boosters can get them at Palm Springs North Elementary School, 17615 Northwest 82 Ave. on Oct. 21.
Walk-ups are welcome. Students must be under the age of 18 and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Kids who need the COVID-19 vaccine must be at least six months old at the time.
Parents or guardians will need to fill out a COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form, which will be available at the site, the district said.
Vaccines are subject to availability. The UHealth Pediatric Mobile Clinic will be available from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
