Optimist Club offers two $1,000 scholarships

     The Optimist Club of Miami Lakes is offering its annual Roland Gomez Scholarships of $1,000 each to a college-bound boy and girl. 

     Eligible applicants must be ages 12-to-18; have participated in Optimist programs for at least three years; have been nominated by a coach and provide last year’s report card.
