Monsignor Edward Pace High School Class of 2014 alumnus Nicholas Fernández is pursuing a degree at Yale Law School this fall, the high school said.
Fernandez, formerly of Miami Lakes, was a National Merit Scholar, Student Government Executive Board president and editor-in-chief of the “Torch” yearbook while at Pace. He has returned to campus to teach world history.
Fernandez is a dedicated Spartan. He is also helping to celebrate Pace’s 60th anniversary by collecting stories for the “MP Memories Project” and to establish Heritage Hall, an archive and exhibit on campus to showcase school memorabilia, the school said.
Fernandez graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics, Pace said. In May, he earned a master’s degree in public policy at Georgetown University, McCourt School of Public Policy.
