Miami Lakes area students received the President’s Volunteer Service award for their community service during the South Florida Youth Symphony’s 50th anniversary concert held at Miami Dade North Campus on December 14. Gold winners were Bianca Larsh, Carine Ghannoum, Kaitlyn Arlotta, Marina McCready, Sabrina Larsh and Sharon Zajac; silver winners were Jonathan Deautriell, Jwan Wan Wells, Karissa Larsh and Micheca Charles; and Jahan Dadlani was a bronze winner.
