Three Mother of Our Redeemer students honored

Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School (MOR) continues to achieve top honors from its students. MOR entered 21 students from its 7th and 8th grade classes to compete with other middle schools in the 2013 Academic Olympics held at Monsignor Edward Pace High School on December 7. 

 

MOR's Shelly Mena (8th grade), won first place in Language Arts, Jasmin Garcia (7th grade) earned second place in Religion, and Melissa Alvarez (7th grade) placed third in Music. MOR teacher Natalia Moncayo was responsible for the preparation of these students along with the support of Altagracia Ramos from the onset of the school year. 

 

Moncayo said, "We strive to provide an excellent education, which shines throughout our students." MOR principal Ana Casariego congratulated all the students who competed, the winners and their coach.
