Miami Lakes K-8 Center and Bob Graham Education Center were recently presented with A+ Flags by State Representative Manny Diaz Jr. and Miami Lakes Councilmembers. This state honor has been bestowed on both schools for several years – Miami Lakes K-8 Center has been an A+ school for 15 consecutive years, while Bob Graham Education Center has earned the honor for the past 11 years.
“It takes a large effort by the staff, administration, students and parents to be an A+ school,” said Diaz. “These A+ schools are helping our students in Miami Lakes prepare for a brighter future.”
“It is very important to acknowledge the students for all their hard work,” said Councilmember Nelson Rodriguez. “Their commitment, along with that of the teachers and school administrators, earned the schools their A+ honor.”
