Jose J. Arrojo named new COE executive director

  The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust (COE) recently selected Jose J. Arrojo as the new executive director. Arrojo, a former Chief Assistant Miami-Dade State Attorney, assumed the post when Joseph Centorino stepped down at the end of August.   To give residents a tax break since property values have been increasing for several years, the Miami Lakes Town Council adopted a new rate of 2.3217 mills and an estimated $50 million budget for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
