Future Leaders scholarship winners honored

  TWO Barbara Goleman Senior High School students were presented with the Town of Miami Lakes Future Leaders Scholarships at the May 1 regular council meeting. Valera Donoso will attend the University of Florida and Kasandra Rodriguez will attend Davidson College in the fall. MIAMI LAKES MAYOR Manny Cid congratulates Miami Lakes Boy Scout Troop 49 Eagle Scouts Eric Bello and Leandro Hernandez during a recent Eagle Scout Court of Honor and farewell party at Roberto Alonso Community Center. Troop 49 is the oldest Boy Scout troop in Miami Lakes established in December 1964.
