Dr. Oscar Bicet visits Town Hall

Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet, a Cuban human and civil rights advocate, recently paid a visit to Miami Lakes Town Hall to meet with elected and government and officials. In 2007, then-President George W. Bush awarded Dr. Biscet the Presidential Medical of Freedom.  The 55-year-old Dr. Biscet is also the founder of the Lawton Foundation. Town of Miami Lakes announced an interactive Transportation Improvements Map has been added to the Town’s website at www.miamilakes-fl.gov/mobility.The new map allows users to click on each “pin” that identifies a specific transportation project.
