The Town of Miami Lakes recognized the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes for its “Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women” campaign. At the December 1 regular meeting, the Town Council presented a proclamation to the group for its efforts to raise awareness of violence against women, preventing and combatting what is considered a hate crime against females.
