  Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan gave away a record 900 turkeys to families in need at the 11th annual turkey giveaway at Landmark in northwest Miami-Dade. Jordan and sponsors handed out turkeys and fresh produce to the elderly, handicapped, and social organizations that serve the community.
