     The Town of Miami Lakes and its Veterans Committee honored the memory of longtime resident Glenn Hommell by planting a tree at Veterans Park. Hommell was a corporal in the U.S. Army military police and served during the Korean War, from 1953 to 1955, his widow Barbara Hommell said.      Glenn Hommell was a fleet manager at Braman Cadillac.
