The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics & Public Trust has invited residents to a free informational meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
Residents can learn about “everything they’ve ever wanted to know about government ethics but were afraid to ask.” The Ethics Commission staff will explain the agency’s work and mission, give an overview of key provisions of the Ethics Code, briefly review Sunshine and Public Records laws, make a presentation on the Citizens’ Bill of Rights, and end with a question and answer session.
